Connect your mailbox to your client
The server name and ports are also written in your panel. Your password lives only on the mail server; if forgotten, we generate a new one.
01Server details
Mailboxes on your own domain connect to the same server; only the username is written with your domain.
- IMAP — mx.ovokodo.com · 993 · SSL/TLS
- SMTP — mx.ovokodo.com · 587 · SSL/TLS
- Username — your full address ([email protected])
- Password — your mailbox password; not your account password
02Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird
In all three, choose "other mail account" or "manual setup"; if auto-discovery fails, enter the values above by hand.
- Incoming mail server: IMAP, 993, SSL
- Outgoing mail server: SMTP, 587, SSL, authentication on
- Folder mapping: use the folders on the server
03Moving your old mail
Your old mailbox connects with its IMAP details and is copied with its folders. Both mailboxes stay open during the move; closing the old one afterwards is your call.
04Your own domain
The MX record is mx.ovokodo.com; we generate the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and they sit ready to copy in the panel. If you don’t have a domain, SITEKODO registers one and manages DNS — then we set up the records between the two ourselves.
